Introducing the PerformanceLabs Podcast: Stories of Revenue Growth and Startup Success

Kicking off the series with Ricky Sutton, a media innovator and AI pioneer, as he shares his journey from war correspondent to startup founder.

PerformanceLabs.ai is excited to announce the launch of its inaugural podcast, a two-part series that delves into the startup journeys fueling revenue growth and scalability in today's fast-paced business world. The series kicks off with an engaging conversation featuring Ricky Sutton, whose remarkable career spans journalism, corporate leadership, and groundbreaking ventures in media technology.

Starting his journalism career at the ripe young age of 17, Ricky Sutton quickly established himself as a fearless reporter and war correspondent, covering pivotal events in some of the world's most turbulent regions. His on-the-ground experiences offered him a unique perspective on the evolving media landscape and the power of storytelling.

Transitioning from frontline reporting, Sutton brought his expertise to major media and tech companies. At Microsoft, he contributed to initiatives that bridged technology and content creation. His tenure at Fairfax Media saw him involved in digital transformation efforts within traditional publishing. He also spent many years at News Corp, and was part of the team responsible for the acquisition of MySpace, a move that underscored the growing importance of social media platforms in the digital age.

Recognizing the transformative potential of video and artificial intelligence in media, Sutton founded Oovvuu in 2014, an AI-driven video distribution platform. Oovvuu uses advanced algorithms to seamlessly integrated relevant video content with news articles, revolutionizing the way audiences consume information and how publishers distribute content.

In his latest venture, Sutton has launched Future Media, a highly successful Substack. Through Future Media, he provides in-depth analyses of media trends, the integration of AI technologies, and insights into the future of journalism and content distribution.

This first part of the series offers an intimate look at Sutton's multifaceted career, providing actionable insights and inspiration for aspiring journalists, entrepreneurs, and media professionals alike.

Stay tuned for part two, where Sutton delves deeper into strategies for driving revenue and scaling startups, sharing practical advice drawn from his extensive experience at the intersection of media and technology innovation.
